Saturday 15th July 2006

It was a looooooooooong day!!! I loved it!

We left home early and got cream cheese bagels for breakfast. We then got on the DART, the local train system, and landed up at Malahide. Malahide is best known for its castle. We had to switch trains along the way and had to wait for over half an hour for the train. Since there were a total of only three people (including us) on the platform, we sat down and waited for the train!

We finally got to Malahide castle.. It was beautiful! We weren’t allowed to take pictures inside. But, you can see some pictures and read the stories at http://www.malahidecastle.com/malahidecastle/history.asp.

However, we did manage to take pictures outside the castle!

After the castle, we went towards Howth.
