We were picked up from the airport and brought to our apartments. Here, I met Sonam and she helped us settle in. The apartment is a lovely two-bedroom apartment!

After unpacking and freshening up, Neha and I went to office. We went for a very short while, just to ‘meet and greet’ the social committee and the other ambassadors.

Then we went in search of coffee. We had some very nice coffee at a local pub here. Then, we went to Sonam’s place for dinner. I got to meet a lot of people there- Norwegian, French, Bulgarian, Spanish, Italian, German and of course the Irish! Everyone was from different teams and holding different positions – from specialists to managers and coordinators to trainers. Everyone is just so passionate about Google- I have never seen anyone talk about work and discuss new ideas the way they did.

I also got to eat some good food! Turns out, frozen tandoori roti, ready-to-eats and chawal are available at the local grocers! I plan to go shopping soon.
